Spotting early signs of #dementia can be challenging. The Dementia Patient Chatbot, an #AI tool created by Institute of Mental Health IMH’s EdIT team, helps healthcare students and professionals hone their interview skills by simulating conversations with patients exhibiting dementia symptoms. As part of the AI Trailblazers initiative, the IMH team attended a one-day product workshop and was provided access to technical experts for valuable advice to better their solution. The Dementia Patient Chatbot prototype shows the potential of AI in tackling mental health conditions.
