The Cybersecurity (Amendment) Bill was passed on 7 May 2024 in Parliament. This marks the first amendment to the Cybersecurity Act since it was introduced in 2018. Much has changed since then in the technological and business landscape, as well as the cyber threat landscape. The changes to the Cybersecurity Act will allow the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) to better secure important computer systems.
