Malaysia Leadership Summit 2023 • 20th June 2023 It’s been one week since I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Malaysia Leadership Summit 2023 co-organised by Leaderonomics and The Global Leadership Network Malaysia. Pictured here are the esteemed speakers, including Maybank Group’s Chief Human Capital Officer Datuk Nora A Manaf. It was also an honour to have finally met Mr Roshan Thiran who is truly inspiring and whom I am big fan of! As all good things should be shared, here are some of my key takeaways from the speakers’ sessions: 1. Believe in your mission and watch others believe in it too. The power of conviction is undeniable. 2. In today's world, empathy is the key to effective leadership. It's essential to understand and connect with your team on a deeper level. 3. A strong organizational culture fuels performance. Investing effort in building a positive work environment pays dividends. #MalaysiaLeadershipSummit2023 #BreakthroughtotheFuture #Maybank #InspiredLeadership #Leaderonomics

Bridge Africa Summit: A New African Leadership-Engage Today’s discussions were meant to achieve engagement in different domains and aimed to benefit people from experiences in public speaking, relationships, and also technical skills such as technology and language skills. We debuted with leadership circles, followed by Co-designing Bridge Africa, Leadership Workshop Sessions, Entrepreneurial program, African Leaders Community: Validation of action plan and next steps, and ended with Leadership circles. The leadership workshop sessions offered accounts to the facilitators and peers to share theirs and how to use their networks to gain access to funders and influence decision-makers in different formats. Over 150 young leaders from 25 countries around the continent were brought together to think about their needs as leaders, to develop, and form their network. The objective of today’s networking is to build up a list of abilities and needs to create strategic plans through collective intelligence that include specific activities like mentorship programs, leadership training, knowledge exchange, research, and thought leadership. These activities resulted in developing programs whose first version will be implemented in the upcoming summits and will become the pillars of the Bridge Africa Network. Hi #Dreamers "Future Leaders, Shape Today!" "We have 182 years of experience," said Mr Sudirman Said, chairman of Institut Harkat Negeri 📍It gives me immense pleasure to announce that I was selected as a fellow of the Tri Sector Leadership Program. This program nurtures and empowers young leaders from around Indonesia, enabling us to realize our full potential. It also enables us to become tomorrow's torchbearers. ❣During my time at the program, I met and interacted with aspiring leaders from diverse backgrounds across Indonesia. These leaders were all driven by the common ambition of making meaningful contributions to Indonesia. 🧡 📍Engaging with many individuals representing the public, private, and social sectors over three enlightening days was an extraordinary experience. In-depth discussions pertaining to each sector enhanced our knowledge and provided invaluable insights into how my fellow participants and I can collaborate in the future. It became evident that we must find a way to leverage each sector's strengths and unite distinct leadership styles. 📍In addition to learning more about "Tri Sector Leadership," I am also eager to get directions from a mentor in this program. this program is still going on and I'm waiting for another surprise from this program. I can't wait for that 😊 ❣Thanks to the IHN team for creating an interesting program and making our day last week full of knowledge and excitement. cc Dyah Indrapati Executive Director at Institut Harkat Negeri 🧡 ❣If you are interested in keeping up with my journey in Indonesia related with Tri Sector Leadership Bootcamp program, I invite you to stay tuned for updates. In our recent engagement at (JESUS SAVES INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL UYO AKWA IBOM STATE ), we embarked on a journey to ignite the spark of leadership within the young minds of tomorrow. Under the theme of "BECOMING A LEADER," we delved deep into the essence of leadership, focusing on the pivotal role it plays in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering a brighter future for all. One of the core qualities we emphasized during our interactive session was self-esteem. We believe that a strong sense of self-esteem is not only vital for personal growth but also serves as a cornerstone for effective leadership. Through various activities and discussions, we encouraged students to explore and understand their individual strengths, values, and aspirations, nurturing their self-esteem along the way. Our engagement with the students provided invaluable insights into their unique qualities and potential as future leaders. Witnessing their enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to learn reaffirmed our belief in the transformative power of education and mentorship. Moving forward, our priority is to continue guiding and coaching these young leaders-in-the-making, helping them to recognize and harness their talents in leadership. By fostering a supportive environment that encourages self-discovery and growth, we aim to cultivate a generation of empowered individuals ready to lead with integrity, compassion, and vision. As we nurture the seeds of leadership within each student, we are not only shaping their future but also laying the groundwork for sustainable governance and leadership in our communities and beyond. Together, let us continue to inspire and empower the leaders of tomorrow, for they hold the key to a brighter, more sustainable world. #Sustainabledevelopmentgoals #SGD4 #NYSC

In today's world executives (future leaders) need to be able to converse in tech-speak as if it were a natural part of our vernacular. …. We don’t need to be from Silicon Valley or be able to code to be a digital leader. What we do need is to have enough understanding of the process to lead and manage it in a way that maximizes its benefits and minimizes the risk of failure. That is why I attended the Executive Digital Leadership Program by Binar Academy at APINDO recently. …. #DigitalLeadership

I had the pleasure of participating in this workshop , Global Emerging Leadership Programs (GELP) 2023 GLOBAL VIRTUAL SUMMIT that proved to be an immensely beneficial and transformative experience. This summit aimed to instill leadership skills and provide career and skill development oppurtunities for students and young minds. The 5hr workshop engaged over 10,000 delagates like me from over 15 countries . It had some impeckable keynote speakers as panelists who gave us valueable insights on "BUILDING RESILIENCE IN A CHANGING WORLD". Hearing their stories of experiences regarding them being and becoming leaders and opinions on the today's technology and mindest trends was so fascinating . My key learnings were : *Always have a backup plan *Keep the network alive *Reflect the acquired learnings *Inequalities are no excuse *Take nothing personally *Always establish the relevance of your idea *Innovations in the last 30 days must be incorporated within the next 30 days And last but not the least be RESILIENT at any cost , because thats what has kept the world going . I would say this has been a mind bending session , getting to here from professionals and leaders from all over the world . This is definitely going to impact my professional career . Looking forward for many colaborations and learnings. #GELP #globalsummit23 #shareyourexperience
