Never let anything go to waste. Last week, close to 100 industry players from F&B companies, malls and solution providers came together to exchange insights on sustainability solutions. For example, companies are upcycling spent grains to create baked goods or even turn them into useful food containers. This sharing and networking session marked the start of Ignite Impact – a collaboration between Enterprise Singapore and DBS Foundation, supported by IPI, to encourage F&B companies to integrate sustainability into their operations. 🇸🇬🤝🇮🇩 Deepening economic relations between Singapore and Indonesia. As part of the annual Singapore-Indonesia Investment Working Group (IWG) meeting, we warmly welcomed our counterparts from the Ministry of Investment / Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Indonesia Investment Promotion Center (IIPC) Singapore, and Indonesian Embassy in Singapore. We agreed to double down on building mindshare of opportunities in Indonesia, and deepening collaboration efforts in sectors such as #green economy, #infrastructure, and #healthcare. We also exchanged views on new areas like #food security. Investment opportunities in Rebana (Rebana Metropolitan Management Agency) and Kalimantan Industrial Park Indonesia (KIPI) Special Economic Zone, and key water and sanitation projects across various regions in Indonesia were also featured at our roundtable session with Singapore businesses. As we conclude this year’s IWG, we are confident of strengthening the close economic ties between Singapore and Indonesia, and will build on the good momentum to provide continued support for the growth of both countries.
